Movie Musical Magic: Contemporary Classics

 Lights, camera, ACTION! Step into the spotlight this Spring Break with a week-long celebration of the movie musicals that define our generation! From the dazzling spectacle of The Greatest Showman to the enchanted romance of Beauty and the Beast, the gravity-defying magic of Wicked, and the sun-soaked shores of Mamma Mia—this camp brings your favorite film musicals to life! Each day features a different movie musical theme with choreographed dance numbers you'll learn and perform, sing-along sessions with iconic songs, themed crafts to take home, and costume fun that lets you become the characters you love. Dance like you're under the big top, belt out ABBA hits, defy gravity with your new friends, and be our guest in Belle's
enchanted castle! Our teaching artists will guide you through the magic of musical theatre while you make memories, develop performance skills, and discover your inner star. The week culminates in a spectacular showcase on the final day of Spring
Break where campers perform their favorite numbers for family, friends, and the community. Whether you dream of being a showman, a dancing queen, a wicked witch, or a tale as old as time princess—this is YOUR moment to shine! No experience necessary—just bring your love of movie musicals and ready-to-perform attitude!

WEEK TWO

Movie Musical Magic: Timeless Treasures

​Seize the day and step back in time this Spring Break with the movie musicals that started it all! Journey through the golden age of musical cinema with unforgettable classics: tap dancing in the rain, carrying the banner with the Newsies, grooving at Rydell High with the cast of Grease, and entering the wonderous world of pure imagination with Willy Wonka! Each day transports you to a different era and story with learn-by-doing choreography from iconic dance numbers, group sing-alongs of legendary songs, movie-themed crafts and props, and costume elements that bring these timeless characters to life. Become a newsboy fighting for justice, a Hollywood star singing and splashing in puddles, a T-Bird or Pink Lady at the school dance, or a golden ticket winner touring the chocolate factory! Our instructors bring the magic of these classic films to today's young performers. The adventure concludes with a high-energy showcase on the final day of Spring Break where campers perform highlights from each musical for family, friends, and the community. These stories have entertained audiences for generations—now it's your turn to keep the magic alive! No experience necessary—just bring enthusiasm for classic movie magic and your best performance spirit!
