WHEN: Sunday, February 19, 2023 and Monday, February 20, 2023 from 6-9p. Attendance required for one night only.

WHAT: Auditionees will be asked to read sides from the script individually and in small groups. 

 

HOW: Please email amelia@lafayettecivic.org to sign up for an audition appointment. Arrive no more than 20 minutes early to fill out an audition form, or bring your completed form with you.

**Those auditioning must be comfortable with language of production.

BITSY MAE HARLING – the guitar playing ex-con singer. ****if interested in role, must sing at auditions
TY WILLIAMSON – 20’s, a beautiful gay man on a journey.
SISSY HICKEY – mid 50’s, the caretaker who picked the wrong day to quit smoking.
NOLETA NETHERCOTT – early 40’s, the angry overweight betrayed housewife.
LATRELLE WILLIAMSON – 40’s to early 50’s, Ty’s uptight, proper mother.
LA VONDA DUPREE – 40’s, Latrelle’s liberal-minded worldly sister.
G.W. NETHERCOTT – 40’s, the distraught legless Vietnam Vet.
WARDELL “BUBBA” OWENS – late 40’s, the former gay-bashing remorseful bartender.
ODELL OWENS – 40’s, Wardell’s worthless story-telling brother.
DR. EVE BOLINGER – 40’s, the over-sexed pill-popping alcoholic therapist.
EARL “BROTHER BOY” INGRAM – late 40’s, the Tammy Wynette obsessed transvestite.
